A dedicated 32 A circuit, protected by a residual-current circuit breaker and installed by a qualified electrician before delivery. SwimFlow is not a Plug & Play model.
SwimFlow weighs 1 000 kg empty and holds 5 913 litres of water: allow for several tonnes when filled, even before bathers enter. A flat, level reinforced concrete slab, sized by a professional, is essential. Also plan access for the crane truck on delivery day.
Yes. It can stand on its slab with its NodoTech cladding, or be installed partly below ground in a prepared recess. In both cases, keep access to the technical panels for maintenance.
Three 3 HP pumps dedicated to swimming create a current in the lane: you swim in place against it, with a grab rail on each side. A 3 HP massage pump supplies the seats separately.
Yes. The pool is heated by a 3 kW heater and supplied with its cover. Consumption depends on the chosen temperature, the region and how long the pool stays covered.
Yes. A dedicated electrical circuit with a suitable residual-current circuit breaker is essential. Most hot tubs require a 230V or 380V supply, depending on the model. Check the required power (in kW) and ask a qualified electrician to prepare the circuit before delivery.
Unless it is a Plug&Play model!
A perfectly flat, stable surface that can support the weight is required. A concrete slab at least 10-15 cm thick is strongly recommended. A reinforced terrace may be suitable, but must be approved by a building professional.
Not necessarily. Hot tubs are usually filled with a garden hose. A nearby water supply can make filling easier, however. A water drainage system (such as a trap or drain grate) is also recommended for emptying.
Allow at least 50 cm around the hot tub for easy access to all technical panels during maintenance. If the hot tub is recessed, provide easily removable access hatches.
Yes, but precautions are needed: effective ventilation, moisture-resistant floor and wall coverings and a water drain in case of overflow. The electrical installation must also be suitable for a humid environment.
Not in most cases, especially for freestanding hot tubs. However, if you are planning a substantial structure (shelter, terrace, equipment room), check with your local council.
The installation itself, excluding preparation, usually takes between 1 and 3 hours. If the electricity, slab and access have been properly prepared, it will be very quick.
Yes. You or a representative must be present to indicate the exact location, check access and confirm correct operation once the hot tub is installed.
