A question?

My screen shows an error like “FLO,” “OH,” “DR,” “Sn,” or something else. What should I do?

Error codes vary by model, but here are the most common ones:

  • FLO/ DR/ DRY: insufficient flow or water circulation problem. Check the water level, filters, and pump.
  • OH / HL: overheating. Let the spa cool down for 15–30 minutes after turning it off.
  • Sn / Sn1 / Sn2: temperature sensor issue. Contact customer service if it persists.

➡️ All Balboa screens (TP600, TP700, VL260, VL810D) and Gecko display these messages with slight variations.

My screen is on but not responding to touch.

Check if parental lock or screen security is enabled. Refer to the manual to unlock it. Otherwise, a power restart may help. If the problem persists, the touchscreen may be damaged.

How do I reset my Balboa / Gecko screen?

Turn off the spa using the main circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. This resets most systems. For a full reset (with factory settings), follow the steps outlined in the manual specific to your model.

Can I change the interface language?

Some screens allow it (notably on Balboa TP or Gecko in.k100+ models). Check in the system settings or "Preferences." If the language cannot be changed, the interface will remain in English by default.

How to enable or disable power saving mode?

Go to the settings or press the "Mode" button (often represented by a dial). You can choose between Standard (ST), Economy (EC), or Sleep (SL) modes. The standard mode provides constant heating.

My spa no longer heats up, but the filtration works.

This may be due to the temperature sensor, a flow issue, or the heating element. First, check the errors displayed on the screen and the water level. Clean the filters. If the spa is in "economy" (EC) mode, it only heats during filtration cycles.
